Live Stream Crash
My system is a MacBook Pro (Retina Mid 2012). CPU 2.7ghz i7, Memory 16gb 1600mhz DDR3, Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536mb MacOS Mojave, Wirecast Pro 9.0.1.
I upgraded my mac to OS Mojave, I started Wirecast and everything seemed to work fine, however, when I clicked on the live stream button to start my broadcast it immediately crashes. Everything else seems to work fine in Mojave expect live streaming in Wirecast. Any suggestions?
Wirecast 9.0.1 is compatible with Mohave. We've released Wirecast 10.1.1 but there's still limited compatibility. Always stay current with updates (leave check for updates enabled or check frequently) and always check with the developer before upgrading an OS.
Please update to 10.1.1 and read the following.Reply
CraigS I am updated in every way that I am aware of. Very thing but clicking on the live stream button works perfectly in Wirecast with OS Mojave. It crashes every time. I am live streaming to Sermon.net . Everything was working perfectly before I updated my OS to Mojave. I have no idea about how to resolve this issue. I need help.Reply
Robert Strong Did you read the link I posted?
In macOS 10.14, we have discovered a severe issue causing a crash when streaming to destinations other than Facebook
This build will resolve the issues to most destinations, including YouTube, churchstreaming.tv , periscope etc.
You must confirm you are on 10.1.1. Please test with YouTube for example to see if that works. Some destinations may still not work. You'd have to use RTMP rather than the built in destination if Sermon.net causes a crash.Reply
