macOS Sierra 10.12 kills Screenflow 5. What about 6?
Although I realize that macOS Sierra 10.12 is beta software, and so I am not complaining, some of us need to use it.
Anyhow, the 10.12 Beta 3 appears to have killed Screenflow 5 for me. Recording appears to start, proceed and complete OK. But when the new .screenflow document appears, it has zero length and no media clips.
Has anyone else had this result? Is anyone using 10.12 and Screenflow 6 yet?

This depends on whether by "capture" you mean just the recorded file or the entire document.
Right click on the ScreenFlow document (this assumes you've saved) and Open Package and inside you'll find a Media folder and in that are .scc files which are ScreenFlow media files.
If you want to attempt to use the entire document in a newer version of ScreenFlow I'd recommend copying the document first and only attempting to open the copy so the original doesn't become corrupt. -

I can't say specifically regarding 5 on Sierra but please do make a direct inquiry and report back if you're free to do so.

What I'm really saying is that I'll be very disappointed indeed if Screenflow requires a paid update every single year. Let's just say telestream would not be the only company o take advantage of Apples yearly free is updates if that was the case and once everything stacks up it can be very expensive and leave a bad taste in the mouth.
