macOS Sierra 10.12 kills Screenflow 5. What about 6?
Although I realize that macOS Sierra 10.12 is beta software, and so I am not complaining, some of us need to use it.
Anyhow, the 10.12 Beta 3 appears to have killed Screenflow 5 for me. Recording appears to start, proceed and complete OK. But when the new .screenflow document appears, it has zero length and no media clips.
Has anyone else had this result? Is anyone using 10.12 and Screenflow 6 yet?

Since upgrading to Mac OS Sierra, Screenflow 6.1 has stopped being able to record from my iPhone 6+, which is running iOS 10.1.1.
I can check my iPhone in the Configure Recording dialog, however when the recording ends, there is nothing in the resulting Screenflow document.
All software and OS are up to the latest version.

Jono Young Do report the issue noting all software and OS versions and phone model. Note that it recording in Quicktime. It's working for me with iPhone 6 so it's possible it could be 6s related.

Lee McClung the answer was already posted, but you have to read a few posts above.
If your device is not selectable in Screenflow, do the following (will likely work for QuickTime too):
On the iOS device go to;
Settings > General (Scroll to bottom) > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will need to re-enter WIFI passwords by doing so, but this typically fixes the issue. -
Hi,
So basically, since I am running on screenflow 5.0.3, it does not work with MacOS Sierra and the solutions if for me to upgrade to Screenflow 6. Correct ? Because at the moment, since the OS update, I am unable to open my recordings no record new recordings. The record function works but after stopping, I cant see anything on the timeline. -
Sharwin Arujunan One other option is to regress to a compatible version of macOS. Upgrading to 5.0.7 which is compatible with Sierra is the other option. If you acquired SF from the Telestream site, use the download link provided. If you acquired SF from the Mac app store, contact Telestream support for conversion options.
All that said, upgrading to version 6.x is probably the best option for most people.
