Screenflow no longer recording iPhone screen (iOS 11)
Screenflow is no longer recording my iphone screen, though the iphone does appear as available and is selected. I just upgraded to Screenflow 7 hoping this would solve the problem but it did not.
The iPhone is running iOS 11.0.2
The Mac is running MacOS Sierra 10.12.3
Is this a known issue with iOS 11? I know it now allows you to record your iPhone screen from Control Center, but it doesn't show finger taps so I need to continue to use Screenflow.

The time does change to 9:41 using Quicktime X too. Very weird.
I am an Admin on my Mac.
The Advanced tab under computer audio says "Install driver." Whenever I try to install the driver after it downloads I get a spinning watch-like wheel (not the beach ball) right beside the "Install driver" button. It's been spinning now for several minutes. It looks as if the driver is never getting installed. Is there a log file I can check or send? Or permissions on a file? I;m running iOS 11.2 and macOS 10.13.1. Thanks!

jim arnold Key is if Security & Privacy (which you should keep open while installing the driver) changes to Allow.
Otherwise if you quit ScreenFlow and open it or reboot the computer it may still say Install Driver because you haven't given it permission in Security & Privacy.
You may want to upgrade to macOS 10.13.2. Because I'm now getting the correct time when I capture the iPhone. -
Stumbled across this thread last night, with the same problem.
iOS 11.2.5; iPhone 6S+; OS X 10.12.6 (Sierra); Screen Flow 7.2.
Solved it by turning bluetooth off and back on. But...had to be in the settings menu. (The "real" turning it off.) Turning it off from control centre didn't do anything.
Just replicated the same problem, and solution, on an iPad Air 2, and iPad Pro 12" (2017). Very strange bug and solution...but there you go. It worked for me on several iOS devices.

Im sorry can you please be more specific? Do I connect my phone to my computer to see if I can play or record my in Quicktime? I can record my screen its just not "recording" when I choose iOS device. It does nothing. Or can I go in settings somewhere to change something. Please help / I also tried turning blue tooth off (from reading other comments) couldn't get it to work C Varney

I'm getting this intermittently! (Which is frustrating!)
(Screenflow 8, Mac High Sierra latest, iPhone X up to date)I'm using a template as I have a whopping 125 videos to create for my membership site!!
So on one video it will show in the timeline.
On the next it might be empty!
Frustrating and time consuming! 😢
Not yet spotted why it appears to be "random"
Anyone else had this randomly?
