WHY IS THERE A PRICE DIFFERENCE FROM THE USA & UK?

I upgraded last year to version 7 & noticed the other day an upgrade to version 8. I tried the trial & loved it especially with the Stock library. An upgrade would cost $84 which equates to £69. Ready to upgrade but then on the invoice £94? Wirecast are not related to Apple are they as they play this trick. Final cut pro $299 & £299 pounds. Please advise.

  • Alas there are money exchange rates and surcharges used by the online shops that we have no direct pricing control over.

  • The exchange rate means I pay cheaper that $39 with the English pound. Currently not the best exchange rate but it would cost me £30 & £9 in Tax. 29% Expensive considering it’s a download. Heaven forbid what the price would be to send via normal post service. One customer lost😕

  • Rob Charles Sorry but we have no control over exchange rate and service markup and sales. There's truly nothing we can do about that.

  • Rob Charles The price our eCommerce partner is charging is the price that you can purchase the upgrade for online. If the conversion rate and tax is not acceptable to you, please purchase your upgrade through a reseller. Attached is a link where you can find a local reseller: http://www.telestream.net/purchase/locate-reseller.htm
