Unacceptable latency with Telestream Audio Capture

I m trying to capture a live performance from the Facetime camera on my iMac while playing playing and singing along to a Logic Pro X track. Ion order to capture all of it I have to switch the audio output preference in Logic Pro to Telestream Audio Capture but as soon as I do, the latency when I play the keyboard is just too much to keep time.

does this mean that I have to move back to 7?

that's not a viable solution going forward. Apple may  block the use of that driver in a macOS update.

Again our KBase explains the situation. We don't like it either. It's up to Apple to provide a solution in order to capture system sound.

In the meantime, our Telestream Audio Capture driver is the only way we can provide capturing sound from apps with Loopback or an equivalent as a direct application sound capture utility that ScreenFlow is currently compatible with.

This has gone on for over a year and I think the solution needs to come from Screenflow

The First T2 chip Mac appeared with the late 2017 iMac Pro. To capture system sound that solution must come from Apple. We have the Telestream Audio Capture driver which is what we can provide given Apple's restrictions.

ScreenFlow must follow Apple's guidelines to be approved for the Mac App Store as well.
