h265 playback is garbled / green

Hi, I am seeing non-playback of an h265 mp4.  The audio will play but video just looks like the attached screenshot.  Video plays back in other applications (QTX, VLC), switch doesn't like it.

I am using Switch Pro 4.5.6 (licensed) on mac 10.14.6.  No more updates are availble for switch.

I have tried deleting the app/re-installing as well as holding shift and clearing all options.  I have searched the knowledge base and forum but haven't found any other reports.  Any ideas?  Switch on PC will play back the same file.

This is not limited to a single file but seems to broadly apply to h265.

Using an H.265 recording from iOS in Switch 4.5.6 on 10.14.6 and it plays back as expected. So either it is specific to types of files or something is causing this issue for you that others may not be experiencing.

Do you have an iOS H.265 file to test?

I just created an H.265 file in Apple Compressor and I have no issue playing that back in Switch either.

Perhaps you can link to one of your problem files so we can test.
