Black Screen when Filter are used(10.0.4 on MacOS 12.2, M1 Max)
Since updating to macOS 12.2 and ScreenFlow 10.0.4, all of my video filters produce nothing but solid black. At first, I thought it was just when viewing the timeline, but then I noticed that it was nearly every filter's preview in the selection window.
Has anyone experienced this before, and do you have suggestions to fix it?
I ran into the same issue with some—not all—transitions, using a 14" MacBook Pro M1 Max, with the latest releases of MacOS and ScreenFlow. After a few days of back-and-forth with support, completely uninstalling and resetting ScreenFlow (twice), plus uploading a video recording of the issue, they finally replied on January 20th:
“I have good news! The issue you are reporting is a known issue in ScreenFlow. Our engineering team was able to determine this issue was found late late last year. Our engineers are aware and are currently working to fix this. The fix will be available in a future release, but we have no time frame for this update.”
Still waiting for a fix!

Have you reported the crashes to support? That would be a separate issue. You should supply them the ScreenFlow Diagnostics. Shift Help Menu > Gather Support Diagnostics and either send them in creating a new ticket or save them locally and email in with an already created ticket on the issue (might be the better way to go).
Also, add the Diagnostics report here as you did previously.
