ScreenFlow Telestream issues...

Hello fellow mac users, i am in need of you help. I have had SF for a few years now and its recently acting up. I can't remember if it was right before or after i upgraded to El Capitan (maybe 2 months ago) that it started. First i didn't have an option to record my computer audio (i fixed that), then now when i want to record I'm sent to download some .Kekt file that i can't even find in my computer after i have downloaded and it STILL doesn't work. Any tips?

Not enough information about the issues or version of ScreenFlow.
ScreenFlow 9 and 10 are supported and only on the most recent operating systems.

If you're using a version of ScreenFlow on El Capitan then development and fixes have ceased some time ago. Support might be able to make suggestions with your system but the compatible version of ScreenFlow was pretty much working. This means any issues are often system config related. You'd have to provide that information to receive help so please do provide it.

  • ScreenFlow 5.0.6, series 6 and 7.0 were compatible with El Capitan.
.kext was an OS system extension required to record computer. Apple started to discourage their use so ScreenFlow 7.3.1 and up changed but that was used in High Sierra and up.
