13.1 audio device stops working
Hi. I was using the new version of 13.1 yesterday. We had a live broadcast at 3pm, 5pm, and 9 pm. So, I started the software at noon, and tested everything. Everything was functioning well. At 2:55pm, just as we were about to go live, I did one last check. To my surprise, the audio input device (FocusRite Scarlet 2i4) wasn't working. I deleted the shot and reimported (as wirecast could still see it), but it didn't fix it. Quickly, I restarted the software. That worked - thank God.
The 5pm broadcast was fine - was only 2 hours after the initial broadcast and a restart of the software. However, the same thing happened when we were about to begin the 9pm broadcast... The FocusRite Scarlett 2i4 was not working with wirecast. Again, a restart of the software resolved the issue.
So, it seems that after a lengthy period of waiting, Wirecast stops working with audio devices (or at least with the Scarlett 2i4).
