Nice found that Beta 15 has this done thanks for that!

  • Thanks a lot for adding this option in BETA 15. However, I have a certain doubt. Although visibility has definitely improved, I would consider adding the possibility of "RHYTHM PULSING" of the red and green frames. Thanks to this, the visibility of what is PREVIEW and what is PROGRAM will be even more visible. Note that on the colored layer list, when we have the Theme set to XKeys, this visibility is not perfect.

On the yellow stripes, and especially the orange ones, the frame visibility is unsatisfactory.

    Regards Chris.

I present my visualization of the improvement, what is in the program and what is preview. When we mark a given icon, it slightly enlarges in order to focus on which scene we are choosing, it lights up slightly green with the inscription PREV, and after starting the scene "GO" the icon changes to a flashing red with the inscription PGM. At the same time, we choose the next ones that are waiting in the queue.
For a better enlargement of icons, you could either make the scene icons a bit smaller or add more space between the rows of icons.

In my opinion, this diagram is very clear and absolutely everyone will notice the state of the image broadcast. The frames are ok, but still not enough distinguish selected PGM and PREVIEW scenes.

      Chris.

you had even better idea for visibility. :)

mayby this could be controlled by settings so you could chose to have overlay colors pulsing?

Roope Berg Krzysiek Sobieranski  with 15.0 release one should create feature requests for additional changes (see Feature Request forum). Keep in mind what one person may like another might see as clutter so one should post the Feature Request and make a strong case for it over the present improvement.

  • Hi Roope,

How have you changed the Preview and program sizes.

I have installed 15beta1, and preview window doubles the size of the program. I would like them to be the same size.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Vicenç O.

Vicenç Oller - BTV You can resize them. Grab between them with the mouse and move left or right.

Vicenç Oller - BTV No worries. It's not obvious in the interface which is one of the things we're looking at.

    • CraigS Certainly it is not obvious. We have been watching for this option 5 people, who I believe well trained on very different user interfaces, and finally had to ask for it.

I would suggest  a very simple draw like:

      Thanks a lot!

  • WIRE-19920 was implemented in v15.0, to add more space between the Preview and Live windows and make it more obvious you can grab and resize these windows.
