Problem Capturing System Audio In Wirecast Windows

I have a Alienware M15 r4 laptop and I'm having an issue capturing the zoom audio in wirecast.

 

On my MBP there's no issue and I have the same settings but for some reason with this computer I cant capture the system audio via screen capture, besides that everything else works great.

 

Yes I reset preferences, started a new document, made sure "capture system audio is checked". I played around with everything I could possibly do, any other suggestions to bring my zoom audio into wirecast?

 

Also I'm using windows 10.

      how do I get to the screen where I can set the NDI Screen Capture to capture SystemSound?

      Mr. Thompson  in the Task Bar. How it displays depends on how you have your Task Bar setup. For me it's the little up arrow that lists things that can't fit in the task bar directly.

      this is how it’s displayed. I try to click on it and right click on it to set it to system sound and I can’t.

      Mr. Thompson That's not your entire taskbar. Please see my screenshot. That's the button to start it. the controls are in a different location to the right.

      It was on silent, but I switched it to system audio.

      Mr. Thompson There's an issue with your system blocking audio capture outside of Wirecast.

      You can look at Windows Defender and make sure both Wirecast and Wirecastd have both public and private access but that's the only areas of Wirecast in Windows Defender. 

      Something in your system is blocking audio capture generally though. I've gone through everything that would impact Wirecast but if NDI Screen Capture can't you may need to start looking at other things. I'm not sure what at this point. 

      Perhaps contact Alienware and mention that some setting is blocking third-party audio capture.

      I figured it out and it seems to be a bug on Wirecast end… 

       

      I decided to uncheck “capture system audio” and then the box “stereo mix…” appeared when I clicked on the gear of the screen capture shot under “change audio”. 

       

      so the audio capture works when you uncheck “capture system audio”, very odd.

     Not likely if NDI also can't capture system sound.

     Sorry but your screenshot has so many other sources that it can't be used to verify what you're stating.


    You must ONLY use System Sound Capture and no other audio sources in a New Document.

      I went back to the old document. But it was able to capture the sound once I unchecked the box “capture system audio” in Wirecast.

      This held true for the NDI shot also. 
       

      If I checked “capture system audio” in wirecast, it didn’t work.

      Mr. Thompson It sounds like you have a system issue if you're getting the same results with Wirecast Screen Capture and NDI Screen Capture. 

      It really sounds like a Sound Card setting or Sound Driver issue.
