Does anyone else have this mini movement issue?

90% of the time when I highlight a clip or even just when I click it, it starts to move by 2 - 3 pixels.

Anyone has encountered a similar issue? I tried to contact support and all they do was to ask me to restart.

I swear I am not trembling. It didn't happen to my other apps. :)

  • No other reports yet. Given the timeline is in frames, I'm not sure if pixel movement is just cosmetic.

  • I can confirm that this happens to me too, and it's utterly annoying. I've not a mouse though, and it happens mostly when I use the trackpad (on a MacBookPro), not so much with a graphic tablet. And the clip actually moves, it's not just a visualization issue.

  • finally. Thanks Davide Barranca . I was so confused. I don't know how the others deal with it.

CraigS  I am surprised that no other reports too. All Jared (your support) asked me to do is to reinstall reinstall reinstall, clear cache clear cache, reset reset reset. I have done it many times and reset it, it just doesn't help.

Also, I have told J that I don't mind being connected with a senior guy to perform some remote control screen share, but he just doesn't accept my proposal.

     Do you have Premium support?

     How many frames?

Can you do a screen recording showing the issue as Han did?

  • Han Lau  the developers will want to know the exact steps so they can reproduce the issue in your video.

Please confirm the ScreenFlow and macOS version number (be very specific).

      CraigS

      Screenflow 10.0.3 (31849)

      MacOS Big Sur v11.6

I have shown the exact steps multiple times, I did full and complete screen recording and emailed to Jared. But all he did was asking me to reset.

And also fi you take a look at the clip that I have just recorded. It is obvious that the length of audio and video clip are not even. I mentioned this to Jared too but he didn't take note.

Han Lau Recording lengths not matching and clips shifting when being moved are two different issues. This is why developers need to know the steps involved. I'm sorry but I'm now confused over what the issue is.

If you'd prefer to continue with email support please do. I'd like to assist but I need all the details.

Han Lau Exactly how are you moving the clip down in the first video you posted here?
Which Mac model since it may be an issue with certain trackpads?
How many frames is the shift?
Does this happen every time or on occasion?
Did restarting help (support may have speculated OS communication with trackpad as part of the issue)?
