Trying to Add LUTs

I'm running the latest point release of ScreenFlow (10.0.5) and am trying to import some LUTs.

When adding a color effect to a clip, the help text reads "Color Effects are implemented using Color Lookup Tables (LUTS) that can be created using 3rd party applications.  To use your own LUT files, add a Color Effect and then select 'Import' from the 'Style' menu.  ScreenFlow supports Adobe CUBE files."

I have several LUTs, saved as .cube files, that I use within LumaFusion which I'd also like to use within ScreenFlow. I have tried several times, but cannot seem to be able to add LUTs using the directions above.

     Please describe what happens?

    It works for me.

    Select Import

CraigS I'm runnin' Mac OS 12.4

I've tried restarting my machine for the heck of it, no change. I made a quick video so you can see what's happening (unlisted on YouTube): https://youtu.be/0Rp5QrDynvU

I clicked on a couple random LUTs in the video and tried to import in two different ways.

Jon Saunders Can I check one of your Luts on my system? Link to one and I'll download and test on my end.

Jon Saunders I found that in 12.4 specifically if you add the Lut it doesn't look like anything happens. If you close and open the Filters & Effects again they're there.

CraigS Here's a Dropbox link to one of the LUTs I've tried: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qxbj2u2r81r89ox/Annihilator.cube?dl=0

I just updated ScreenFlow to 10.0.6 but it's not workin' for me (the LUTs). If I try adding the LUT, close and then re-open the panel, it's still not there.

CraigS Quick update, I copied the LUTs I've got over to the LUTs folder (/Library/Application Support/Telestream/ScreenFlow/LUTs) and they now show up in ScreenFlow! However, I have tried almost every single one of them, they don't seem to work at all.

I've tried restarting ScreenFlow as well as the Mac itself.

I just downloaded some free LUTs, put them in that folder, and they work perfectly. For some reason, those others that I bought (I think I bought them from MotionVFX a few years ago) just don't seem to want to work in ScreenFlow.

Jon Saunders Thanks. Downloaded it. Left it on desktop. ScreenFlow 10.0.6, macOS 12.4
It works for me. So the lut is definitely compatible and ScreenFlow (just updated) recognizes it.

CraigS Well, I figured I'd recreate what you did. So I downloaded that LUT from my Dropbox (the same one that I already have copies of on my hard drive) and try it out. ...the LUT shows up in ScreenFlow and it's working! Not sure why it works doing it that way - but it works.  :)

Jon Saunders Thanks for reporting. Perhaps there's an odd intermittent issue given that at least one time I didn't see my added luts until closing and reopening the filter window.

Jon Saunders Since I've experienced a similar issue I've started a developer investigation FLOW-11534 to see if we can find the cause of this apparently intermittent issue.
