Wirecast 9.0 Crash

I Just had a problem with wirecast 9.0 crashing while exiting. I was actually upgrading to 9.0.1, and just shutting down to install the newer version. I was not saving any documents or doing anything. I thought I'd document here to see if this is common. I have spindump and process sample that I'll provide in an official ticket to see if this can be analysed.

  • I've upgraded to the latest version and I have a new iMac.  I am seeing the application give me the spinning wheel way to often and I end of hitting force quit on Mac.  I have submitted a tech support case on this as well.  You are not alone.

  • Ron Williams It could be preferences or opening a document created in an earlier version. Searching for IP cameras on a large network is another possibility. When reporting issues you should provide enough detail that support can attempt to reproduce.
