The power resides within you. 馃槈
    And within ScreenFlow.
Feel free to assign as you wish.

Tried that but says this for everything: "Cannot update the Default Keyboard shortcut set."

I made a copy and it doesn't work.

     You couldn't create the shortcut?

Made a copy which I call OneButtonRecord. Shows the shortcut in Preferences and in the Menu. ScreenFlow 7.2

brett r That warning sign means you can't use that shortcut as it's used elsewhere.
As you can see on the top it says Conflicts (2)

In SF, I'm not aware of anything using that shortcut. I just keep a beep when I try to use it.

Conflicts will show you the conflict. You must change the shortcut.

No matter what I change it to, it's always in conflict.

You have to keep trying until you find a shortcut not already in use.
I showed you a working example
    Option Command 1

That does work but is such an unrelated combination. I just found that Control Command I does work. Thanks.

brett r Yup requires some experimentation to find an available combination that's easy to remember.

Since we are discussing the inspector, is there a way to default it to closed instead of being open all the time?

     Please do explain?
If you just finished capturing you'd need it open. If you're importing you'd need it open. Once you've done either you can close it.

Under what circumstances would one would want it default to closed?
