not capturing iphone video

I have an iphone 7 and screenflow7. I go to configure recording, select record ios device (it has my iphone 7 listed so it is seeing it) then i hit the record red button. It is only recording audio though and not any video. When i hit finish only the audio is showing up in screenflow, no video at all. THoughts?

  • Reset trusted computers on the iOS device
    First Quit ScreenFlow and disconnect the iOS device from your Mac.

    Next, check this apple article for instructions on how to do this:

    "To untrust all computers, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy. This will also reset your location and privacy settings."

  • Thanks, CraigS. I had a similar problem (ScreenFlow was recording iPhone video but not audio), and resetting the phone's privacy settings fixed it.
