Keyboard shortcuts 15.1

I'm test driving 15.1 and have seen an issue with keyboard shortcuts.  I duplicated the default set of shortcuts and then renamed it.  However in this set I can't use the + or - key to add or remove hotkeys in the document.  If I use the default set I can but I'm not able to create any document hotkeys in the new set I created.  I can use application shortcuts however.

I assume you've updated to the release version of 15.1. I ask because you mention "test driving."

What OS are you on (be very specific)?

I seem to be seeing something similar but I'd like your steps to confirm we're having the same issue.

If you can't add hotkeys how do you know the - key doesn't work?
Are you seeing previously created hotkeys?

    I'm on Mac OS 12.5.1

I keep the last working version (15.0.3) active until I know there aren't problems with the latest release so that's why I was test driving 15.1

If I use the default setting for the keyboard shortcut set then adding and removing document hotkeys by the + and - keys works for me.  If I create a duplicate set of the default configuration and then try to use the + and - keys nothing happens.  I now notice the same issue in the previous BETA of 15.1 when I check.

I I create the shortcuts while in default, I can still use them in my custom config however but need to return to default to add or remove others.

Apparently how this function works is not well documented. We'll add more detailed documentation.

You actually add the Shortcuts in the Default set and then create the Custom Set.
The Custom set can't add or delete Hotkeys but they, along with the Shortcuts can have keys changed.

    So:

    1. Create New Shortcuts in the Default Set.
    2. Duplicate and you have a Custom Set with those New Shortcuts.
    3. You can change keystrokes in the Custom Set, but you can't add or delete Shortcuts.

Granted it's not intuitive but the developers had good reason to do it this way. This made it easier to check for conflicting keystrokes for example by adding (or deleting) keystrokes in the Default set.

I understand the direction they've taken.  The hotkeys aren't really customizable to assorted custom sets though if they are all the default set.

The application shortcuts are a nice addition to this version though.  Now I can open up some settings in Stream Deck that were slower to get to via mouse only.

You can add and delete in the default set and then duplicate.
Need to make another variation do the same and then duplicate.
