
Unable to see or hear remote guest in Rendezvous
I attempted to bring on a guest through Rendezvous yesterday and could not see our hear them. I actually did a remote helpdesk session on their computer in which I could see and control their computer, assuming that the issue was on their end, only to discover that on their computer browser window their camera was showing etc. I rebooted my computer and reconnected Wirecast / Rendezvous and still was unable to ever get this working. I have done this previously and it worked fine. Due to the lack of time, I ended up needing to bring in this guest via Zoom capture but frustrating last minute and hoping for a solution. Thank you.

I'd like to help but I'd need complete config, versions, and workflow. Generally, this is working for most users so I'd have to guess it's a config issue but can't troubleshoot without complete information including that of the guests.
Troubleshooting requires enough detail so we can duplicate the config if necessary otherwise we're going to spend time going back and forth... keeping in mind this is a generally working feature. There are many potential config causes ranging from guest issues to settings issues. -
For some reason I never received your response as an email... I am using most recent version of Wirecast. In this case it was on a Windows computer. Not sure what else I can provide currently but was very frustrating to have a last minute guest attempting to join event, be able to remotely see that they were successfully connecting in their browser, yet not be able to get them in Wirecast. So much would prefer the workflow of using Rendezvous as apposed to capturing Zoom. I will do some additional testing.
