Shots with PTZ presets and MultiViewer

I appreciate the LOCK SHOT ICON (and Refresh Icon) option that was re-introduced to facilitate quick recognition of PTZ shot angles from which to select. And the fact that Wirecast "protects" user from changing to another shot (angle) from the same camera.

I had hoped to get some added confirmation from the MultiViewer screen, where I tried to use the 10/Horizontal view to place my 4 camera sources in left-to-right row, so I could clearly see which camera was in Program (not to be touched) and which cameras were safe to move. [I'd never used MultiViewer before, and really like the bold red & green Program/Preview borders.] But the only way the Preview/Program borders can show on the 4 camera sources is if I choose my 4 "raw" (without PTZ preset) camera shots as MultiViewer inputs.

But the only way I can choose those "raw" shots is to also place them into my video layer, which is already crowded with 4-5 presets per camera. And having a "raw" camera shot mixed in with the LOCKED icons only adds to user confusion. ;)

Is there a workaround or different configuration of layers I should be trying?
