Pan/Tilt Motor Audio

I had a blip in my setup and now have everything back to normal except I can hear the motor for pan/tilt mount in my stream. I never had that before. I have my video coming thru via blackmagic on hdmi. I have my audio coming in thru my mixer and syncs up well. I do not hear the motor at all except on my stream. Anything that I need to check?

Would there be a mic open picking up the motor noise?
Are you sure it's the motor?
It's not clear what Pan/Tilt you're referring to.

It's hard to know where else your monitoring and how so I can't comment on this without more information.

You would need to describe in a way that a technician could build a matching setup.

  • I got that resolved. the issue was on the BM intensity unit. It had somehow reset and was using the hdmi audio from the camera instead of the mixer. But it's fixed now. My problem now is I upgraded my computer finally to Mojave and yes I know it should have been done long ago. But anyway I got that done and upgraded my Black Magic Desktop Video to 10.11.4 as a recommendation from BM support. I also upgraded to Wirecast 13.1.1.  My issue now is that my video is dropping frames or something to that affect. Movement is real jittery. I am using the same file as before with everything that I use. All is good except the motion. It's an older camcorder and uses 1080i 59.94. All of that is set so I see a good picture.

I also have my old Wirecast still installed. the motion is still great in it, but when I click stream, the program closes. That's why I did the upgrade.

Try creating a new document. Using Old Documents can be a problem with Blackmagic after updates. Make sure Wirecast Preferences Advanced Video Display rate is set to 30fps. Check Wirecast System Device Properties for the Blackmagic shot.

  • CraigS  that was the issue. I had to recreate all of my layers, shots, titles, text, everything. Oh well, all seems to be good. I think I had to make my Preferences 60fps. I don't think it would work with 30 fps. I am using a 1080i 59.98 camera.

     That's good to hear.
i59 (is interlaced fields) is 30fps (29.97 actually).
