Connect GoPro5/6 to Wirecast
I try to use GoPro as camera with Wirecast and for GoPro5 it works. BUT, when there is pictures or videos on the SD-card in GoPro5, that media comes up in Wirecast in stead of live stream. When i delete the photos and videos, it works, live stream comes up. I connect GoPro5 whit hdmi cambe to BlackMagic Ultrastudio MiniRecorder and then with a thunderbolt camle to MacBook Pro 2017.
Question: Why does files on SD card com up and not live feed?
Question 2: I try connect GoPro6, but it just give a black feedbak, even when there is no files on the SD card. Any suggestion for solutions?

Connections via hdmi + Black magic Ultrastudio MiniRecordr (grey box) + thunderbolt2 + transition to thunderbolt3 in MacBook Pro. -
Rune Fardal The older one might be PSF which is seen at i60.
Generally you'll find the Magewell HDMI to USB3 can handle things that the BMD Mini Recorder doesn't.

Rune Fardal There might be a camera output menu setting for HDMI out. Otherwise you may have to contact GoPro.
GoPro only mentions this.
This implies that you can set it to 720p60. That's a standard broadcast setting so that should work with the MiniRecorder. 1080p60 would probably not work since that's not a broadcast legal setting. -
Rune Fardal Seems others are having this issue generally as well with the Hero 6.

I think the problem must be GoPro 6.
When i use the Blackmagic Media Express, GoPro 5 comes up, GoPro 6 does not, just a black screen. So its the same problem here.
I tried Quick time player, chose File>New Movie Recording, with the same result. GoPro 5 comes up, GoPro 6 does not, just a black screen.
TV
I tried connect GoPro 6 to TV (with HDMI) and it shows 1080p60. So a signal is coming out of GoPro 6 but it must be something different than GoPro 5, because the last works with Mini Recorder. And by the way, GoPro 5 also shoved 1080p60 on a TV.
So what is it GoPro 6 send out that makes it difficult for several programs to show the feed?

Rune Fardal It may not be sending 1080p60 to the MiniRecorder. The recorder definitely does not support 1080p60 (I own two of them). Camera recorder settings is not always the same as HDMI output setting. You can certainly others are having the issue from the linked thread which has nothing to do with Wirecast. There's a compatibility issue because GoPro6 is not outputting the same as GoPro5. Your own screenshot shows MiniRecorder set to 1080p29.97 (and that certainly would work if the camera outputs that).
