Exporter video non consistent

ScreenFlow 7.1

Mac OS 10.13

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)

I try to export a sequence containing m4v videos, a PNG file, sound, and some text clips. The exported video doesn't not at all look like what is played in ScreenFlow. Video files are not exported or almost black. Only highlight parts (white parts) of the video is a little bit visible in the exported file.

The iPad preset produces a completely black video. The mp4 file contains all clips except the videos files. The file size is much smaller than the estimated file size.

Restarting the Mac or/and ScreenFlow doesn't solve the issue.

I never had this problem with ScreenFlow before.

Can someone help me? Thanks!

That has NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M. We have an issue with NVIDIA GPUs we're working on a fix for. In some cases files export as black for example.

File size is alway duration times data rate. It can vary slightly based on content though. This means the settings you chose are a big factor. It's hard to be more specific than that since your examples involve the encoders you're choosing but you don't mention that.

There's Automatic settings and Manual settings and the Manual settings which superficially look similar to version 6 actually use improved settings which may yield better looking results but larger files.
