Big problem with screen flow 8.0
Hello,
I made a few days ago the update to version 8.0 (31269).
I am on a MacBook 12' early 2015 with OS 10.13.6.
Everything worked well with screenflow 6 then with screenflow 7 but now it's a real nightmare for me to work with screenflow 8.
It's slow, I am blocked with the spinning wheel very often and have to force to quit to go on.
Now I am trying to export a small video and it crashed during the export (the export doesn't progress anymore after 2-3 hours...).
I am very disappointed.

Gabi Nelson You're welcome of course. That's why I had mentioned that not all PNGs are alike. We probably should post an FAQ on this but generally:
Pixel dimensions should be no bigger than ScreenFlow Canvas and ideally be sized for the export frame size if possible. Typically that would be "UHD" or "HD" frame sizes.
If created in a graphics program also used for print, make sure to use 72dpi. Larger pixel density used for print work 200-600dpi may be more difficult to decode (playback) in real time. -
Any updates on these fixes? Tech smith needs to do better testing. It’s obvious there are issues. Yet we are forced to pay for upgrades that are bug loaded. I’ve worked in tech and software dev for 20 years. This is unacceptable. We have had no choice but to move to iMovie abd are now learning adobe video editing tools as TechIth is proving you no longer care about your Mac market. We should not have to chase these bugs more than Techsmith. Can we get a refund for our upgrade? We have been users for years and are considering canceling.

Richard Gow Sorry but I can't troubleshoot general statements. If you have specific issues please start a new thread.

I'm going to have to close this thread because support can't follow a laundry list and troubleshoot in any meaningful way. Please start new topics, confirm you're using ScreenFlow 8.2.2 and the OS and list specific issues in a way we can reproduce and fix. Please include a descriptive title.
