Can you give me specifics about file size and which Quicktime ProRes variant as well as system specs? -
Hi, I am seeing same issue. I am using v4.5.4, ProRes 444 UHD file approx 400gb in size. Seeing a bunch of dropped frames and the freezing/judder mentioned above. I do not see this issue in QT player.
System Specs:
Win10 Pro 64bit OS
128g RAM
Intel Xeon CPU E5-2690 v4 @2.6ghz (2 processors)
Playing file from local 8TB RAID and also from NAS with 10g fiber connection (Both ways work on QT)

How was file created (licensed method vs FFMPEG equivalent)? -

CraigS Issue has been seen with files from 30min to 2hrs in length. Raid 0. Created using Colorfront Transkoder 2018 licensed software.
