How Do I get QuickTime Time Code in Inspector

I'm not sure if this is a problem, but when I have timecode on quicktime track selected, the inspector reports a different time code (Switch timecode). We would prefer the embedded timecode so anyone looking at the flag will have accurate TC. Maybe I missed something in settings. Please advise.

Have you checked the following Timecode Source setting and set it to the Timecode you want rather than Switch TimeCode.

Yes it's set to that. But the timecode isn't the same when I hit the plus sign on flags to notate where an error is.  The start SOM is the Switch TC. It'd be better if the flag TC uses whichever time code is selected but it's not.

Dean absolutely report this so we can improve it. I can see why it might be problematic.
