Problem with Screenflow 6.2 recording video and audio
Hi Guys, I'm having a problem with Screenflow 6.2 and can't quite figure it out. When I record a clip longer than about 1 minutes, It records the audio of 1 min but then the video is over a few minutes and if I scroll past a minute in screenflow, its like its damaged. It doesnt play back any video, and the computer audio is all glitchy.
Does anyone know what this can be? My audio interface is all working. Its a Behringer FCA610 and works fine in other audio applications. I'm on Mac OS 10.11.1
I haven't used Screenflow in awhile so it used to work, but have no idea no why having such issues with it recording video and audio. I haven't changed any of the settings or configuration.
If anyone can help that would be great

Hi Craig. So I'm recording my screen and computer audio, plus I am recording my voice from my audio interface. It seems like If I record after 1min20sec the voice recording stops. And when i record my video it seems to be fine if its under 1 min. But when I stop recording the video capture is longer than the voice over in the project. And when I scroll past the voice into the extended area it doesn't playback. Seems like its corrupt or something.
And then when I do a long screen capture. It still only records the voice for a minute or some. But the computer audio gets all glitchy when played back on a longer video. Plus the video is still always longer than the audio captured. Any ideas what this might be?
I just tested with the build in audio and it seems to work fine with that. So I think it may be down to my audio interface. Which is weird as it was working fine when I last used it. It's got Firewire and USB. Currently Im using it with Firewire. Let me test it out with USB and see if the same thing happens

OK, so this is what I've found. It is done to the interface.
I tried recording with the firewire interface without the computer recording enabled and it worked fine. But when I enabled the computer recording thats when it gave issues again. I also tried another firewire interface I have (Mbox 2 Pro) and that worked fine when recording using a microphone and recording the computer audio.
Then I jumped back to my other interface and tried the USB on it and that worked fine recording audio and using the computer audio. SO it has to do with the firewire on just that interface. very annoying.
I'm going to try update the firmware on the interface. Now need to jump across to my PC to do that and see if that helps resolve anything with it when using firewire. Will report back. But thanks for pointing it out that its probably an interface issue. Very strange as I remember it working with firewire on Screenflow 5 on Yosemite

Good job investigating. Keep in mind Apple may change things with OS updates and we may need to make changes to maintain compatibility.
Again you may want to update your OS to 10.11.6
You can also test with ScreenFlow 5.0.7 (last version in that series) and see if it still works there with El Capitan.
You may want to follow and add your results to the following thread
