Wide Shot and Tight Shot with Camera in Wirecast Go?

I understand that Wirecast Go offers the ability to have "multiple shots."  Does that mean I can put my camera on a tripod and have one shot be a wide shot and a second shot be a tight shot (via digital zoom) using the same camera on my iPhone?

Or are the multiple shots limited to simply adding overlays to the single camera perspective?  Also, can I stream to Facebook using Wirecast Go if I'm on a Verizon LTE cellular signal or is wifi required?  Thanks.

  • Generally multiple shots would mean with and without title and to go from media files to media files to live camera and back.

If would be interesting given the 4k camera in some iPhones if one could stream in 1080 or 720 and have multiple repositioned shots.

Wirecast Go can use LTE and you may try using RTMP to stream to Facebook.

  • CraigS Ok thanks.

  • Mike Grayeb You're welcome of course. We are investigating improvements for an update although I can't give a time frame on that. Do anticipate improvements though.

  • Should we be able to take advantage of the 2x camera on the iPhone X (iphone plus) models in the app in order to get a "tight" shot? I can add another camera shot but appears than when i manually zoom view in it's using the digital zoom instead of the available lens 2x zoom.

  • Adam Nieto Perhaps Wirecast Go isn't controlling the manual zoom on the iPhone X. Please do fill out the form and make the feature request.
