Mouse Cursor will not be adjustable....

The mouse cursor will not be adjustable in your screen recording.  This is what I see when I open Screenflow 10, even though I have checked and added ScreenFlow to all of the appropriate places under the security and privacy settings.

  • Hello, I have the same issue (mouse cursor will not be adjustable in your screen recording), but I can't resolve it by changing my mouse pointer to normal with no shake.  I have macOS Monterey, MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021), M1 Max.  Any ideas how to fix it?

It depends on your monitor configuration. Certain external monitor configs don't allow for separate cursor control.

This thread helped me thru the same issue, thanks!  Once I turned off screen mirroring, I was able to get access to the mouse features.  (I have an iMac Pro / Big Sur w/ an ultrawide LG HDMI monitor plugged into a CalDigit thunderbolt 3 dock, FWIW)

  • CraigS I've read through this thread, and am still have an issue with the mouse cursor / pointer resizing / radar overlay when I record my screen.

I think I've nailed down the cause to my MacBook Pro using an iPad Mini as a "Sidecar" as an extra monitor.  Everything works great in Screenflow except for when I want to change the cursor size, etc.

Is there a planned fix for this?  Is this considered a bug by the Telestream team?  I would like to have my iPad as an extended monitor using Sidecar, but cannot because I need control over the cursor size, etc.

I'm running Screenflow 10.0.8 on MacOS 13.2.1 Ventura.

Can you give us any insight into whether or not the engineering / development team intends to fix this?

Apple macOS does not present the information to allow independent cursor metadata so Apple must make changes for the developers to address. in other words, we can't fix it. It's in Apple's hands as it's a macOS, Display, GPU issue.
