Trouble extracting audio from multiple clips simultaneously

In Sscreenflow 9 I was able to select multiple audio clips, right-click, and choose extract audio. The multiple channels would be automatically separated into their own individual clips. In Screenflow 10, I can no longer select multiple clips and do this in a single process. Instead, the extract audio submenu shows "multiple selection" which is greyed out. How can I extract the individual audio channels of multiple clips simultaneously in Screenflow 10? This is critical to my workflow, as I often have dozens of individual clips. Having to extract each one would be a huge step backward.

Are you sure you're performing the function the same way in 9 and 10?
Different files may behave differently so the best way to confirm is by using the same document.
Using the same document test in 9.0.7 and 10.0.5. If it doesn't work the same way please link to the document so we can test.

  • Hi Craig, I am doing everything exactly the same. I just did a test. I recorded into Screenflow 9.0.7 and the behaviour was as expected. I saved the document and opened it in Screenflow 10.0.5. And could not extract the audio from multiple clips at the same time.

  • And here is that exact same ScreenFlow document in 9.0.7

Eli Krantzberg Thanks for showing that example. We'd like a copy of the document so we can test and verify. You can link to it here or on the forum private message me directly and we'll have a look.

Is there any update coming for this soon? Trying to finish an extensive project and need to look for another solution otherwise.

To anyone looking for a solution, I found a couple work ways to work around it. If you just need to turn up a channel, you can enter a percentage here to get past the 125% limit. If you need to process the audio further, you can uncheck the channels and export them separately, then re-import them or process them with another editor.

AlxN Thanks for the workaround. Developers are still working on it but are hoping to have it fixed in an upcoming update.
