Scheduling on YouTube
Hello,
I've read the pinned post about YouTube (YT) stream scheduling but I still seem to have a problem when scheduling a stream from the YT Studio and connecting from Wirecast. Whenever I do that, I can't seem to connect despite the fact that Wirecast has the right streaming key listed. I'm forced to schedule from Wirecast instead. Anyone else experience that?

I still seem to have a problem when scheduling a stream from the YT Studio and connecting from Wirecast.At this point, I'd recommend scheduling in Wirecast unless you want to use generic RTMP. We may need to work on things given the changes YouTube keeps making for their Studio.
Please make sure you're on Wirecast 14.2.1.
If you'd like us to investigate further we may need screenshots of the scheduled event with stream key in YouTube Studio as well as Wirecast YouTube output settings including the stream key. -
CraigS Thanks! Right now it's not a big issue. I was just curious. Also, we are running 14.2.1.

Brian Willis We are working to improve the communication between the YouTube API in our interface and YouTube's Studio. We've noted these issues and working on fixing them.
We do want to check for variations so confirming matching stream keys is important. Mismatched encodet settings may be another variation.
