Logitech C930e Delayed Video

  • Webcast version 13.1.2
  • Windows 10 fully patched
  • Logitech C930e latest drivers and firmware
  • New PC - AMD Ryzen 7 2700, 32gb RAM, nVidia 2060 Super GPU, SSD NVMe Storage.
  • USB 2.0 and 3.0 port (it is the only USB device plugged-in)

I can use my Logitech Webcam in Zoom without experiencing any video delay. Last night I ran a 24-hour test with it in vMix, leaving the preview window displayed on the desktop, came back in the morning to a fully responsive, no-delay video.

But, when I bring it into Wirecast within just a few minutes the video delay begins. Starts at about a 1-second delay and progresses up to 2 1/2 seconds over the next 15-30 minutes.

I've tried both formats "YCrCb 4:2:2" and "Motion JPEG", resolution 1280x720 and lower, 30fps.

I've read other threads regarding this, have reset my Wirecast Preferences, to no avail. I've also turned-off all the "auto" adjustments for the webcam, but still no improvement.

During my troubleshooting I am using a new Wirecast project that only contains one shot, the Logitech Webcam. My system CPU is at 5% utilization, where Wirecast is 1.5% of that. Wirecast is utilizing GPU at 4.1%.

Super frustrating!

Any helpful guidance would be greatly appreciated.
