I'd like to help but I may need the exact version of ScreenFlow and macOS. Where was the document saved? What is the file type content of the document? That error can happen on saving rather than opening so I need more complete details. Note the error says "Please save your work"
Version 9.0.7 (31680) MAC OS Mojavi version 10.14.6 I saved it in the documents folder as a screenflow document It says it's 61.75 GB so it still exists When I open the package contents they all seem to be there
I don't know why but I was able to retrieve the document after freeing up more storage on my computer and restarting it. I still get the colored spinning ball which greatly reduces my editing time. How can I stop this from happening? Will upgrading to version 10 help?
Herman Drost Did you do uninstall/reinstall? If no, do that. If yes then I'll have another thing for you to try which might impact the beachball.
You may need more drive space. Drive should always have at least 20% free space even after recording. Both the OS and the app need temp space. If there's too little space you'll start having a number of problems.
