New templates in SF 10 also don't work
Latest M1. Lates OS.
Not only do SF 9 templates not work. Even in a new template from a new document afresh in 10 does not remember the video placeholder specs. In 9 the first screen was set so that I could see the cam image. Not here, always needs a click on the eye.
Also with every "New Recording from template" I have to uncross "record computer audio".
I appreciate you guys reacting quickly on comments. But all this combined with constant crashes I so feel like a beta tester. I do tutorials 2 a day and make my living from that. And this PAID upgrade totally kills my workflow. Just being honest here.

We have a template fix coming out very shortly.
ScreenFlow 9 templates should work in 10.

Then you'd disable Computer Audio?

Hi Craig,
After "new from template" and choosing my template I get this. I always again have to uncheck "record computer audio". I never use that. Version 9 remembered that. Also I want to always check the visuals of my cam before recording. But It doesn't give me the cam view by default. I always have to click on the "eye" icon every recording I do. Version 9 remembered that.
Any solution?
Thanks, Christian

I version 10 the default is on. The problem is some prefer it one way and some prefer it the other so we had to choose.

Thanks, Craig.
Resetting computer audio recording on/off: I would feel natural to have these settings be part of the templates themselves. AKA "this template does not record computer audio".
Also most of the apps I use on Mac remember how I last did it and rightfully assume that I want to do it like this again. Just to reduce unnecessary amount of clicking before one can actually punch "record". Just my ideas, having experience with workflows.

My callout style presets are gone.Currently, they aren't imported. We're looking at how to support that. They are currently stored in ScreenFlow 9 Preferences which can't be used in 10.

But if I use a template, it does not recognize my external mic. In fact I can record zero audio from any source using a template. It's working for me. I don't see other user reports of this.
MacOS, Mac Model. How are devices connected?
External webcam and External USB Audio device. Each connected directly to the computer (no hub or doc).
SceenFlow 10.0.2 macOS 10.15.7, iMac Pro
BTW based on the user screenshots you can see they have external devices as well using templates
