macOS USB Audio Dropouts

We've been experiencing this issue where our USB audio device connected to Wirecast (a A&H Zed Mixer) will spontaneously disconnect and not pass audio. The device still shows up in Wirecast and the Audio MIDI app, but does not pass audio.

The timing of these drops is usually in tandem with these errors:

Perhaps a USB bus issue. There's not enough information to begin to troubleshoot.
Remove all other USB devices and go directly into the computer and don't use hubs or docks.

After some more testing this afternoon, it seems to possibly be related to updates that happen to the Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL folder.

Whenever we the ZoomAudioDevice.driver or ACE.driver (Loopback) is modified  while Wirecast is open, it throws the above errors. It seems like modifying items in that folder refreshes something that causes this issue.

Bryce Seifert Perhaps uninstall LoopBack and see if that's the cause.
