I cannot play wmv in power point
Last week I bought the Switch pro and I downloaded it to my mac which use high sierra software... I followed the advice of your website who recommend Switch to replace the Flip4mac... when I went to power point for mac they tell me that I cannot play media because I need a codec and they send me again to your website. The question is how to use Switch to play this media in ppt presentations and shall I buy also Flip4mac and if so why I need Switch then ?

Switch doesn't play WMV embedded in other programs. Switch can play them directly though.
Apple no longer allows the plugin architecture that permits that to work.
Flip4Mac, although plugin based, can't do it either in Sierra on up (when Apple made the change). El Capitan was the last macOS that allowed that. -
In this case, I need a refund for the Switch software which is useless for me. I can use other free softwares that can play the same extensions.

Ahmad R S No problem. Alas we are all subject to Apple's changes regarding plugins. So only independent WMV players are possible. Switch does much more than that though.
