What do you Think About the NewStock Media Library?

At this writing, I haven't yet upgraded to Screenflow 8, (yet). I probably will soon, but what I'd like to see are some thoughts about the new subscription available to the new stock media library from those who have it. Is it worth the extra for this subscription service? On the surface, it seems quite reasonable...

Anyone out there who has subscribed care to venture an opinion?

  • If you download the trial of ScreenFlow 8 you also get the trial of the Stock Media. You can go through it and look at the entire contents.

  • Thanks, Craig! I already own Screenflow 6 and 7, and I'll probably be upgrading to 8 soon, regardless. But I was still hoping some Screenflow customers who have also purchased the media library might share their thoughts as well. I'm pretty sure I'll end up subscibing, too.

  • When buying an option with the media library package, do I have the option of using clips and music in any project - eg in the production of a clip or a report in Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere? is this just a library for use within Screen Flow?

  • Ryszard Wesołowski The library is specific to ScreenFlow. Although it's not uncommon to edit in ScreenFlow and export that as Apple ProRes and then finish editing in FCPX. The license is to use the clips in ScreenFlow specifically for ScreenFlow projects.
