Full-Screen Too Dim To View

When I play a .wmv file with Flip4Mac, it plays in a small window.  When I expand to full-screen, the video and audio play, but the video is dim -- like there is a gark gray "screen" over the image.  How can I fix this?  Thanks.

  • Sorry you're experiencing that but it almost sounds OS related. What OS version (be specific) and have you updated to Flip4Mac version 3.3.7? Please test in Flip Player, not Quicktime.

Please read READ BEFORE POSTING and provide all the technical details.

  • Same problem here. MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 - Flip Player 3.3.8.1.

A dark gray screen overlay over the image while playing a wmv file using Flip4mac player at full screen.

MP4 movie file converted to WMV using the latest version of Flip4Mac Studio Pro HD (Purchased today - Feb 1, 2017). How can I fix it, any update? Thanks

  • Borys Czernichowski I tested and confirmed the same issue.
    View > Enter Full Screen
and the entire image is dimmed.
I grabbed a portion of my image.

On the left is Fit to Screen. Looks as it should
On the right is Enter Full Screen. Looks like there's almost no contrast.

Report the issue and note that Switch works. The developers will be most interested in that.
