Using Web Stream to bring in Hudl feed to Wirecast Pro

We just installed a Hudl camera in our gym.  The video quality looks fine in the Hudl interface, but when I import a Hudl feed via Web Stream, I'm experiencing very choppy/laggy video.  Attaching a sample video and hardware specs here.

 Model Name: MacBook Pro

Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Core i7

 Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz

 Memory: 16 GB

OS: Catalina 10.15.5

Wirecast Pro Version 14.0.4

Hudl's instructions to broadcast via Wirecast

Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks

If VLC is running fine you could screengrab that and use as a source. I know, I know, this is crap but at least it would give you more time to have telestream investigate the issue and come out with a fix.

  • I increased the buffer to 2 seconds and updated Wirecast to 15.1.2.  I am not sure which one fixed it, but it worked!

I will let you know if it stops working again.  Thank you for your help!

DCG Booster Thanks for reporting that. I suspect changing the buffer helped.
