Audio not playing back in Screenflow 10
Imported audio files are not playing in Screenflow. They do play in iTunes, so they are not the problem. I tried recording a track directly into Screenflow and, again, no sound emerges. The microphone is definitely working (tested using PowerPoint). I've tried rebooting, checked privacy settings, etc. but no joy...

Please confirm that you are on ScreenFlow 10.0.5
Please list macOS and Mac model including CPU type.
It's not clear if this is a recording or playback issue. You state playback and describe recording since you mention imported files, then a Microphone.
Please describe the issue so that we could reproduce with matching computer, versions, workflow. Sorry but with that information I could have given you an answer or troubleshooting techniques with this post.

Check you audio out settings in System Preferences Sound. Avoid monitoring with Bluetooth headsets, airpods or equivalent. Generally, Bluetooth with both mics and headphones may confuse the system. Test by monitoring using only built in speakers.
As long as the meters move you have sound and the issue is monitoring settings.
