How Do You Remove All Clip Markers?

I chose the menu option to delete all markers (timeline and clip), but the markers on the clips were not deleted.  My Markers window says there are no more markers, and the Mark / Markers menu has the delete options greyed out.  I tried selecting the clips, then did a Select all, but that didn't work either.  I also noticed I have some markers floating outside of clips... like the one you can see at the far right.

But then I got this error (second image)...

I saved my work under a new name, shut Screenflow down, then restarted, and when I opened the saved copy it indicated it had recoverable data, so I Ok'd that.  The document no longer shows any markers, so I guess what I was seeing was the result of a glitch.  I had been doing trimming and moving clips around, and finding those clip markers coming detached from any visible clip, which I assume is not how it should happen... I assume if I drag the end of a clip shorter and pass over a clip, it should disappear, then if I drag the clip longer again, it should re-appear?

Delete all Markers works here for both timeline and clip markers for us. What were the steps to create a clip marker beyond the clips?  If you can get it to happen in a new document in ScreenFlow 9.0.7 we may want to have a look at the document.

  • All the markers I created were either on the timeline or in a clip.  I suspect that when I was clipping and sliding clips the clip markers were left behind off-screen, where I didn't notice them.  I haven't used marker a lot before, but I'll try to keep using them to see if I can reproduce the error.

JOHN HOWARD Markers shouldn't exist where there is no media so we'd certainly want to know what steps would result in that state so we can prevent that from happening.
