Can a Panasonic Lumix G7 be used in real time as a video source while recoding with ScreenFlow 5?

I know that I can hook up my Logitech C920 as a direct input video source to ScreenFlow. However, I have ordered a mirrorless DSLR Panasonic Lumix G7 and was hoping that I could hook it directly up with ScreenFlow too via the HDMI port on my 2015 MacBook Pro laptop.

Is this possible? Or can I only record directly to the camera's memory disk then transfer than to my MacBook Pro? I am interested in cutting out a step, especially because the SD card slot on the camera is physically blocked by the tripod camera mount plate.

Thanks, Frank

HDMI port on most computers is video out only.
Currently ScreenFlow only uses webcam USB based cameras.
You should be able to import the camera files though.
