Quality degrades as number of guests increases

Like it says in the title, I just hosted a Rendezvous test with 6 guests, and quality dropped substantially as the number of guests went from about 3 to 6, to the point where the guests were saying my audio was unintelligible. Five clients were on laptops connected to wifi, the sixth joined via Wirecast Go on 4G. I'm on a hardline getting 300Mbps down and 25 up. Any thoughts on why this might be happening, and how to avoid or mitigate it for the actual call next week?
