Can't record from Sony camera into Screenflow 10
Hey Guys,
Here are the stats:
Sony A7R4 connected via usb C cable
M1 MacBook Pro with Mac OS 12.1
Screenflow 10.0.4 (31881)
I installed the Sony Imaging Web Cam software. The camera works in other apps like Zoom, however, I can not get it to record in Screenflow. The Sony Imaging app appears as a camera, but there is no preview. When I record, nothing records (except my mic, video screens, etc.)
I've tried resetting permissions, running in Rosetta, etc. Nothing seems to work.
Please help! I'd love to use my Sony camera to record directly into Screenflow!

I am facing the same issue, read all the threads above, went through other threads too but nothing worked for me.
I am using:1. macbook pro 16" m1 max, Ventura 13.0.1
2. screenflow 10
3. Sony a7iii
*** camera works on Zoom and Google Meet, but not on screenflow as well as Quicktime.
screenflow recognizes the camera tho, but no preview nor recording.
Please release a fix to this.

but not on screenflow as well as Quicktime. If you have the Mac App Store version of ScreenFlow it will not work for the same reason it doesn't work in Quicktime. Apple "sandboxing" prevents it.
Please download the free trial of our own webstore version which is ScreenFlow 10.0.8 and see if that works. If it does, you can ask for a crossgrade to our version.
Please do make sure you've updated to the current version of Sony's webcam driver as well.
It does seem Sony's most recent cameras no longer require the driver. The Sony FX30 and Sony 7RV seem to have the function built in. -

doesn't work in Quicktime too. That's likely due to Apple's "sandboxing" (may prevent the use of virtual webcam drivers).

(because mac asks to replace or keep both). You can put one in a separate folder in Applications. Otherwise, though it's easy to redownload the other version if it overwrites it. No stress on that.
You must test with the webstore version due to Mac App Store sandboxing.
