We know Facebook was having issues with the API which is used for the Wirecast Output to Facebook interface..
Make sure you've updated to Wirecast 14.0.4.
Then do a quick test just to a Facebook Page in a new document and see if that works.

When I was streaming to Facebook & then restreaming to Youtube & Twitter nothing would work.
I deleted my restreams for Youtube & Twitter and left Facebook, only then was I allowed to stream.
When I tried to stream directly to YouTube and Twitter separately I got this "bad request" message.
I've tried everything from resetting wirecast preferences to creating a new document, nothing worked.
Im also using wirecast 14.0.4

I just used RTMP to broadcast to twitter and it worked. I don't know why I can't stream directly to twitter or YouTube just by using wirecast like last week.
I don't mind using RTMP, but for some reason I can't set the title of my broadcast using RTMP.
Being that I can use RTMP as a work around, does that means the issues lies within wirecast itself?

Now I noticed when I toggle off the "tweet when starting" box and leave the other box checked it allows me to stream.
It streams but I can't set any title for my broadcast on twitter....
Any recommendations???

Thanks for that but in order to analyze this I need specific steps. The failures can be different and varied for each destination CDN so we can't troubleshoot general statements.
For example, set up a stream to Facebook and include every step as if you wanted me to do the same and then-

Its simple...
- I set up my shots
- Go to output
- Then output settings
- start a twitter stream
- click both of the "tweet when starting" and "automatically start/stop periscope broadcast
- press ok
- Start stream
- error message pops up and says "failed to publish broadcast/bad request"
I reset my wirecast preferences. I started a new document. I restarted my computer.
Nothing is working...

Mr. Thompson Tested with my account. Worked immediately. No other reports of this. First without Tweet and second with.

Mr. Thompson So Wirecast is working.
Perhaps there's an issue with your account.
Log out of your account in Wirecast.
Log back in and you should get an authorization code.
Authorize your account.
Try again.

i did that no exaggeration like 30 times.
I sent a video to the telestream support people.
I have no idea why it stopped working, the other day it was fine.

Log into your account in a web browser.
Under your avatar in the upper right select Producer.
Create New Source
Copy the Server URL and Stream Key and test if that works using generic RTMP Server in Wirecast.

Yes that works, I tried that earlier.
The problem with that is I can’t set a title or hashtag for my broadcast via RTMP that shows up on twitter.

I even deleted wirecast and reinstalled it, created a new document and still having the same issue with twitter.
This is disappointing.

Mr. Thompson If RTMP is working then it's something about how the API is reading (or not reading) your account. I'm not seeing other reports of this.
You may need to do a screen recording so I can see your steps. You may need to look at your account's Producer settings because Wirecast will show up there.

In Periscope Producer on the webpage, you can see Wirecast and Stream Key at the bottom of my list. It says Stop Broadcast when it's live. I go to the Broadcast and you can see the title.

The video clip you posted wasn't RTMP... It was the regular Wirecast way...
When you do RTMP you can't set a title for twitter.
So when you go to producer the title will be there...
How do you set a title via RTMP?
Also if my API is messed up, how can it be rectified?

I also been getting this weird error message in periscope producer when my broadcast doesn’t go live now.

I recorded the video so you can follow the steps. You may need to check Periscope Producer (the second video) since that's Wirecast information including the stream key. You should be able to check the stream key in Wirecast and then check in Periscope Producer to make sure they match. If they don't match that might be why Wirecast isn't making the connection.
