Rendezvous: Session connection failed. Attempt to reconnect failed.

I get this error every time I launch Wirecast 14.2 - "Rendezvous: Session connection failed. Attempt to reconnect failed."

 

It appears in the lower left of the window. I am not using or have ever setup Rendezvous.

 

Is there a way to fix this?

  • The current version of Wirecast is 14.2.1 so please update.

     You can launch Wirecast which defaults to a New Blank Document or you can have it default to a previous document.

     Please explain what "window." Wirecast opens with the last document. It can also open with a landing page. Or, it can open on a blank document (nothing checked like below).

    The connection error appears when I open my current document or a new one. Shows up here (Lower left corner):

      Scott Karlins Were using Wirecast Go /iOS Cam in the above document? It's possible even a non-Rendezvous wifi connection might trigger that.

      Scott Karlins Also create a support document for us. 
      Wirecast > Help > Send Support Information... then Save Report button. Then attach it to a forum post.
