can only select one monitor to record from

Screenflow version 10.0.2 (31833)

I have Mac (27-inch, Late 2013) Catalina 10.15.7 and an HP monitor connected as a second.  Both monitors appear in Configure recording and get the red band when I select them.

But it only records from the HP monitor when I record no matter which monitor I select.  Disconnecting the second monitor works but this is not a great solution.  Did not have this issue before upgrading from ver 9.

thanks

Colin

Connected How (be very detailed including any software involved as well if any).

Try recording only the built-in Retina display (as only monitor in Configure Recording)

I just checked the old version ScreenFlow 9.0.4, still in my Applications folder and it works correctly - records from whichever monitor I select.

The second monitor is connected with the display port on the iMac and this hardware arrangment has not changed.

Both monitors display in the Configure Recording dialog box and paint the red box around the correct monitor as each one is selected.  BUT no matter which monitor is selected the second monitor is recorded.

I am recording browser sessions in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

Colin Woods are you using any third-party monitor resolution software like Switch Rez X?

Colin Woods making sure you have the monitors checked as desired.
This from my iMac (2017 Pro)

You can uncheck a monitor but you can completely delete the monitor.
Do you get the same results if you just uncheck vs delete the HP Monitor from the Configure Record window?
