No Monitor Output for Gear 420
After successfully applying the latest Windows 10 patch, my Gear 420 is not reliably outputting to a monitor. I did successfully get it to boot to the startup screen (holding down arrow) one time, after which it booted fine. When I attempted a restart, same problem (black screen).
Any ideas?

Is this your main monitor or a second monitor?

I agree with what you are suggesting. Id be willing to do a clean reinstall if I could get back to the boot menuTry booting in Safe mode to be sure.

You could try installing the GPU driver (this should work with your Gear).

Once it gets through the boot sequence, everything is normal. At least that's working.

I have been able to boot to the BIOS setup, but not consistently. Next time that works, I will try the GPU driver.I wonder why that's not consistent. Has this always been the case or just since the Windows patch?
It might be best to use the Gear restore and get back to the Gear system default.
