Unknown Error message/Streaming timeout

We're dealing with an on-going issue in which Wirecast will not begin streaming to Livestream.com when scheduled. The Stream icon will flash green for 15-seconds, and then stop and the "Timeout publishing" error message (image #2) appears. I will attempt to restart the stream, but generally have to refresh the streaming key in Livestream.com, and copy and paste the new key into Wirecast Output settings several times before I can successfully establish a connection. And then, A/V synch is so out of whack that the result video is unusable. The ultimate fix is to stop the stream, refresh the streaming key (again), and restart the stream(!) Not optimal.
Today, in addition to THAT drama, I was also presented with an "Unknown Error" message, and the Stream icon began to flash red. Per instructions from Craig the Moderator, hardware/firmware configs are in the attached Word document. Am I the only guy in America dealing with this??

Have you updated to Wirecast 15.0.3?
Did you use our built-in Livestream destination or a custom setting?
Your attached docx file seems to be corrupted as it's only 162 bytes.

Can you stream to YouTube or Facebook?

CraigS Yessir, we're running V 15.0.3. As I mentioned earlier, Robbie Smith, one of the Telestream Techs set us up with a manual connection to Livestream using a specific IP address (see screenshot).

The built-in destination doesn't need a stream key.
You need to authenticate the account.

    Thankyou for the response, Craig!
Unfortunately, this doesn't match what we've got.
We are authenticated, but have learned, in dealing with a larger, on-going issue of unreliable connectivity with Livestream.com, that the built-in destination is undependable. Based upon the suggestion of one of your techs, Robbie Smith, we have changed the configuration to MANUAL entry, using a static IP address; the account is authenticated. While the connectivity issues have lingered now for more than two months, the "Unknown Error" message is the first of its type I have seen (and would Wirecast not save/store authentication data once it has been set?)
Also, is there anyway you can link this conversation to the Trouble Ticket Robbie and I have been working on, please? [#01005140] You never know when a clue about one issue will help solve another!

    Thanks,

    -bc

     Done.

Do you have this issue with other CDNs (e.g. Facebook or YouTube) or is this Livestream specific?
Since you're doing this manually it's possible there can be an issue with encoder settings for both streaming and recording. Perhaps the document or Preferences may have impacted the settings. Please take a screenshot of those settings. Also check the document you attached since that looks like it's corrupted as well (on my end at least).

CraigS Thanks for the follow-up; this appears to be a Livestream-specific issue for us (and we use Livestream as a sort of "hub" to distribute the feed to YouTube and (eventually) LinkedIn. The settings detail is attached as screenshots.
So here's the confounding part about all this: I made NO changes to any settings from yesterday to today (7/21), save refreshing the streaming key this morning; experienced a near-perfect stream on the first try! The imperfection arose from the Cams still jumping and skitting about (and this after rebooting all cams and NDI joy stick controller!)

Brent Clanton At least as far at the connection goes it may well be a Livestream issue. I see two things worth experimenting with although the intermittant nature may require multiple tests. Change Profile Main to Profile Baseline if possible. The other is that you have Keyframe Aligned enabled. Do they specifically ask for that? If not, disable it.

BTW the Stream field looks odd to me. Stream is short for Stream Key and I can't recall seeing stream keys ending in anything like "?p=0" Would it be possible you could show me the Stream Key as it is being shown to you on Livestream (where you're cutting and pasting it from) in a Forum Private Message (don't post it on the forum).

The camera issues is separate so I'd rather work on the reliable connection first and then we can go through possible fixes for the cameras. We can work on the cameras but for those, I'd rather you test just doing local records to eliminate the internet as a factor when we work on those.

      CraigS
Thanks, Craig--Streaming Key information has been sent to your Message inbox.
I believe the p=0 suffix has to do with the options offered in Livestream to "Notify Followers When Broadcast Begins," and to "Save Ended Broadcast as a Video Recording;" when I toggle those options "on," the p= suffix changes. Note these are toggled "off," hence the p=0 coding.

I see no Keyframe Aligned option in Livestream settings...and I'm lost with regards to the Profile settings you mention. I agree, let's chew on one piece of this elephant at a time. Interestingly, today's livestream connected on the first try with no issues whatsoever--I made no changes from yesterday to today; frankly, a little reluctant to introduce any other change variables so long as this is working. But who's to say how long that will continue? (Two days does not a trend make!)

Better to be safe and leave things alone if they are working. Perhaps there was an intermittent issue on Livestream's backend which is now working. Keep fingers crossed.
