After our investigation WIRE-17996, we've found X-Keys needs to fix their SDK (the tools they provide developers for integration). We've contacted them but they need to hear from users. Please do contact them

I emailed them with the link you provided and mentioned what they needed to fix in your previous post and here was their reply. "We make the hardware, which has not changed, but Big Sur made changes that requires a different technique to access the data. We are working with Telestream to have them implement this in their software. Until they successfully implement the changes I’d echo their warning on their website". We'll definitely hold off updating but hoping a fix is coming soon. Not sure what the issue actually is as I'm not remotely a programmer but just hoping it gets resolved somehow. This post wasn't meant to cause any drama as we're very happy with our Wirecast program and xkeys. I just wanted to share their response in hopes it could possibly aid in a resolution perhaps. Thanks!

Just FYI. I emailed X-Keys technical support and was advised that a meeting took place between the PI Engineering and Telestream about two weeks ago. PI Engineering advised that the meeting was productive and that the underlying issues of incompatibility with Big Sure were identified. They echoed the statement by others on this thread that the responsibility for resolution was with Wirecast software engineering - not PI Engineering.

Just adding my voice to this issue. The X-Keys hardware control solution was why we opted for Wirecast for our streaming studio set up. Nothing beats hardware controlled switching in live shows, and whilst X-Keys isn't perfect, it does elevate Wirecast above other software solutions.
We've held off updating on main streaming computer to Big Sur for this reason.
Really looking forward to hearing both teams working together to solve this.
Thanks!
